The dogs we take in and ultimately place in responsible, loving new homes come to us from many walks of life. The lucky ones live the good life and have the very best of anything and everything a dog could want. Unfortunately, negative circumstances have a way of presenting themselves and their owners find they must surrender their beloved pet. Others come to us from places of pain and suffering that absolutely breaks our hearts. We wonder how some people can be so cruel and inhumane to creatures who just want to love and be loved. It's mind boggling what humans will do to something so warm and cuddly as a dog!
This section of our site is dedicated to those dogs that most desperately needed our help and to the families who will now love and care for them forever. Every dog we rescue is special to us and CWGSR is forever grateful to those families who adopted these precious and extra special dogs.
We call this area "From Rags to Riches" because "rags" aren't always made of fabric and thank goodness "riches" isn't always spelled with dollar signs!
